Join one of the Seppeltsfield Cellar Door team on our Private Group Tour and Tasting - the Grand Insight Tour. Available in the mornings only to book for groups of 8 to 30 guests. Minimum of 5 days notice required for group bookings and are subject to confirmation by our team, depending on availability.
Enjoy a behind the scenes look around the Estate’s treasure trove of historical buildings and spectacular surroundings. Learn of the Seppelt family history who founded the Estate in 1851, and their profound influence on the Australian wine industry. Hear about the story behind the famous avenues of palm trees that line the roads leading to the Estate, and the range of heritage listed buildings.
- The tour route generally starts outside the Seppelt Family Homestead and takes you through the underground blending cellar. (Route may be subject to change depending on other bookings that day and weather conditions.
- The experience concludes with a tasting of five wines - including white, rose, red and fortified wines in a dedicated space.

Our staff serve alcohol in a responsible, friendly & professional manner.
Our team are on hand to assist visitors in their decision to drink in moderation and visitors are encouraged to utilise the spittoons provided.
Limousines or buses with liquor licenses will not be accepted on site. Hens & bucks parties, 18th and 21st birthday celebrations, and end of season sports groups will also not be accepted.
Staff will not serve alcohol to any person under the age of 18 years. Visitors who seek to obtain alcohol for people under 18 years, and any visitor that is intoxicated, will be asked to leave our Estate.
Cancellation:
Tours can be cancelled and full refund provided if 48 hours notice is provided. Partial refunds available for reduced guests numbers up to 24 hours prior to the tour.
